NEWCASTLE PREMIER LEAGUE T20

The Newcastle Premier League (NPL T20) is a flagship winter cricket tournament initiated by Newcastle Hunters Inc., a not-for-profit sporting club with over a decade of service in the Hunter region. NPL was born out of a community need for competitive cricket during the winter season, and since its inception in 2022, it has rapidly evolved into a premier multicultural sporting event. With official collaboration from Cricket NSW, NPL T20 hosts over 300 players across 16+ teams, representing diverse backgrounds and international communities. Our professionally organized tournament features live scoring, qualified umpires, and matches across multiple city council venues—bringing communities together through sport, fostering young talent, and creating a vibrant cricketing culture in the region.
